Giants’ baseball is on the air

I haven’t lived in California for 12 years, but I still love listening to the San Francisco Giants’ radio broadcasts. As I type this short post, I can hear Duane Kuiper’s soothing voice coming clearly from Arizona through my iPhone with the KNBR broadcast out of San Francisco.

Yes, the Cubs are ahead 3-0, but it’s Spring Training and what matters is not the score but the mere fact that baseball is back.

And all is right with the world.

  1. I caught some of the Giants game yesterday. It was on the MLB Network. The Cubs announcer pointed out that the Giants haven’ had a guy hit 30 or more homers since Barry Bonds hit 45 in 2004. Hopefully that will change this year with Jorge Soler.
