Happy Super Bowl, everyone. I’m rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and we just had what I consider a very good omen for the the team. As my wife and I were eating lunch, a bald eagle landed on the golf course that adjoins our lot.
The eagle flew off, then came back to the course and landed about 100 yards away in a retention pond where I’ve hooked many a drive. Maybe the bird was looking for golf balls. I saw it dip its beak for a bit of water before it flew away. I got one fair shot of it (above) passing one of the townhouses on the course.
