Baseball resumes today, and that’s a good thing

The All-Star break is over, and the games resume today in Major League Baseball. For the players and the fans, it’s a fresh start and a reason to think optimistically about the drive for the playoffs. It’s also a good occasion to quote the sage advice of Yogi Berra: “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.”
